  • Jerky (Beef/Turkey/Pork/Otherwise)

Gotten into it over the past half year or so, especially turkey jerky. There's a local brand out here (Perky) that makes really good turkey jerky and sells them in big quantities. Great source of protein and little else.

    Anyone else on the wagon?

Once you go Turkey you can't go back. It's not even close.

Yea, I recommend buying a dehydrator and making your own. It's surprisingly really easy.

Not big fan of deer meat myself (other than the backstrap), but as jerky, it is soooooooooo good.

Oh I am with you...... I've ad deer in chili as well and isn't bad. But if jerky if it is seasoned just right, it is one of the tastiest things out there.

It almost makes me want to take up hunting again.

Deer chili, backstraps, and jerky FTW. I was referring to OTC purchases.

My cousin's friends used to run (maybe they still do) this crowdsourced burger review site called "PeepMeat.com." Every single time I typed it in, I was like .

I probably wouldn't have clicked on that either.
