Im sorry about the doggo. I have a 12 year old lab thats been with me since she was born, and I dread that day.

Our Border Collie would follow around the house and bump your calves with their nose until you let them out so they could go run laps in the yard.

I think Border Collies have a cocaine gland.

Mine wants to run laps, and dig. I walk her about 2 miles in the morning and we run afternoons. Have to exercise her every day or she loses her shit and runs wild through the house.

its one of the reasons I don't want to have any more pets since my last two cats (that I was allergic to) died at the ripe old age of 18 and 20 respectively.

They're out there, check the local shelters..... Do NOT get a Border Collie.

I work too much to have a young dog. Wouldn’t be fair. I could stand to adopt another older one to be honest if it was cool with lots of naps and going on walks without frequency.

Sorry man, I met my wife because we worked together and we both had dogs and we got them together then we got together. Both dogs lived to be 5-17 y/o. My wife still has the urn of her dog up in our bedroom she was that attached.

If you like dogs, get another one you'll remember the old one but the new one will help take our mind off it.

We have two new dogs both about 5-7 y/o now that our kids are growing up with.

I inherited my mom’s dog after she passed away. Abby was 16. West highland terrier. Good girl.

She took a turn this weekend and I had to have her put down today. I didn’t think I’d get super emotional but coming back with her collar and seeing her water/food bowls….I lost it. I’m happy I can clean my carpet real well knowing she’s not going to pee on it but I thought for a second and I’ve know that dog since I was 25.

Give your pets a scratch behind the ears if they’re still with you. Also, what the hell do I do with a cremated dog?

Put the wooden box somewhere you can see it and it can be seen, without making it the central point?
