I'll just say last week's Dynamite was almost as perfect as you can make a show. MJFs insufferable gloating, Switchblade showing up, Keith Lee debuts, the Punk/Mox team-up, Britt/Rosa reignites, and the bonkers main event.
Cody and Brandi Rhodes leaving AEW. Return to WWE "a matter of when, not if".
That... makes no sense.
Instead of going with the two year option, Cody wanted Punk and Bryan money. That's part of why he left.
He also left because the pencil was taken from him after that shitty Dark Order segment in which NXT beat them the only time ever in the demo. He was getting stale, refused to turn heel, and had no compelling story after the Malakai story ran its course.
But this could all be a work for all we know... I don't think it is. But I would NOT be shocked if he takes out Hangman at the end of Revolution. He can say that he chose to opt-out because that stipulation ended when his contract expired.
Fucking Hell.. Lesnar just F-5-ed Austin Theory off the top of a chamber pod.
UGH... Gotta make Lesnar-Reigns III mean something by having a Winner Takes All match
That was a weird match. I thought Lashley getting taken out was a work at first, but next thing you know he's in concussion protocol and not coming back. Given he was the only one with even a modicum of a chance of beating Lesnar, pretty much made the whole thing foregone.
I kinda like Austin Theory's character. I'm always amused by the heel who's head is so far up their own ass they have no clue how deep of shit they are in until its too late.
I can watch Smackdown. RAW is tough to stomach. NXT is starting to go the way of RAW.
I mean, for me its a to each their own sort of thing, but personally Im just not entertained by it. I tried watching the Rumble...yea, just can't. I like the guys and girls working there, but the product...oof.
So two weeks of glorious tag team clusterfuckdom coming up in AEW. Dont think its gonna be my boys Butch and Blade, sadly.
AEWs hard pushing that its ReDragon and the Bucks going to face the Express, but something tells me theyre gonna screw with us a bit. If I had to guess, Bucks win tonight, then next week "help" RD, screwing them over and either P&P or the Ass Boys go instead.
Also, crazy prediction: Page survives Cole at Revolution, immediately gets splattered by Cody. Cody claims that since he left AEW, his "no world title" stipulation has expired, and he finally becomes the dickbag he comes off as.
