MI Movies ranked on the 25th anniversary of the first one:

        1. Rogue Nation (Sean Harris I've been a fan of since The Borgias, great villain)
        2. Fallout (Really liked Jeremy Renner's part in the prior 2. Disappointed he wasn't in this one, but Henry Cavill was great and the action scenes were top notch)
        3. MI:3 (For PSH (RIP))
        4. Ghost Protocol (The Scene in Dubai off the building was absolutely unbelievable.)
        5. Mission Impossible (The OG. The hanging Cruise scene still iconic. The campiness of the TV show still kind of came out here)
        6. MI:2 (I really liked parts of this, and that opening scene still freaks me out. Thwandie Newton, shew)

          Star Trek TOS films:
          Wrath of Khan
          6
          4
          3
1 (Long and dull. Tries too hard to be 2001.)
5 (Worst Trek film until Beyond but there is some good banter between Kirk, Spock, and McCoy and I really like the soundtrack. Also, the first Trek film I saw in the theater.)

          TNG:
          First Contact
Nemesis (Don't know why this one gets so much grief)
          Insurrection
Generations (Fun movie but the plot is a mess)

          Reboot:
          Into Darkness
          Star Trek

Beyond is so bad it doesn't even belong at the bottom of the list.

What did you not like about Beyond? Thought it was more character based/less CGI'd then the last one.

I really liked the overall cast makeup of the reboots. Really enjoyed all 3 movies. Would probably have Beyond above Into Darkness

The casting was very good for the reboots. Spock is probably the most difficult character to get right and Zachary Quinto nailed it. I dislike Simon Pegg more each time I see him but he didn't ruin the films.

The plot didn't really make much sense for Beyond and did they really need to destroy the Enterprise again?? I almost walked out of the theater when they defeated the alien swarm by literally playing "Sabotage". Even George Takei was pissed that they made Sulu gay. The only redeeming quality was Spock and McCoy.

Actually a solid list. I’d probably put MI:3 a little lower or swap it with Ghost Protocol, though. That movie had some really kick ass scenes

I hate it that they knocked off Alec Baldwin in the last one. He is my favorite on-screen curmudgeon.

I gotta give to Rachel since every hot chick circa 1995 ended up getting her haircut.

I look at it differently. Everyone loves hot chicks in yoga pants. Unfortunately like the Rachael haircut, it becomes normalized and non hot chicks think they can pull it off. I see women in their late 60s wearing yoga pants. I see women with asses so large in a bad way that I feel bad for the fabric trying to not split.

                              Team Phoebe.
