Will Elliot Page only audition/play male roles now or what? The character he plays now on the Umbrella Academy is Vanya Hargreeves a woman who uses she, her, and hers pronouns.

Also you have Asia Kate Dillon from John Wick 3 and Billions. Dillon is non-binary (which apparently is for a gender identity outside of the boxes of man or woman) and uses they, them, their pronouns. Dillon identifies as pansexual, stating they are attracted to multiple genders.

This is my stance too. I’ll call someone by whatever name they want to be called because names are chosen/given, but I’m not changing the definition of man and woman based on someone’s perception of themselves.

My argument would be that how someone identifies does not effect me or bother me in any way so who gives a shit. That doesn't work for every situation, but for this one I think its pretty apt. Science is science, biology is biology...but fuck if someone feels better about their life by changing/identifying different than their biology, cool. I can also see this being a slippery slope to the asinine (like identifying as a cat, plastic fork, thong ect).

In any case, as long as y0u fuckers are not killing anyone, impeding anyone elses rights or breaking law, do whatever it is that makes you happy.

Appeasing these people doesn't help. I would wager, in this particular case, the effort has something to do with some sort of career move, or an attempt to be considered for some acting role that is in the works. But I could be over thinking it.
