We're good here, a little chilly but good.

    Thought and prayers

It’s supposed to be a wind event more then rain. Power is going to be going out all over the place.

Do you people use twine for power cables? We had santa ana winds (gusts of 50mph) here yesterday and the worst thing to happen was a 2000 acre brush fire.....but we didnt lose any electricity

Atlanta has trees. Lots of them. Big old oak trees. Older one with aging root system and adding water and 40mph wind, they come down and are hard to remove.

When Opal came through here back in like 94 or 95, we didn’t have power for like five days.

No power. Had a biscuit from Wendy’s because all the good places were packed. Fuck 2020.

What a mess out there. Trees down everywhere. No traffic light. It sounded like a freight train all night then just boom and it all turned off.

Had some family members lose their apartment. A tree fell through while they were in it. The fire department had to cut a hole in the side of the building to get them out.

They weren't hurt but they lost a lot of their belongings.
