I'm hoping Nashville will end up being one of the hosting sites, but I think it's a long shot with only 10 US cities.

Hopefully the Finals will be in LA like 1994.

        I think they will be.

So looking at the seventeen cities... I think we're looking at...

        LOCKS
        Los Angeles [Probable Finals location]
New York [You gotta have games here]
Washington, DC [Can't see the nations capital getting snubbed]
Dallas [Of course Jerryworld gets games. Possible finals location]
Boston [Ugh, but Kraft has a lot of political power]

        PROBABLY IN
        Seattle [Massive fan support here]
Miami [Sexy tourist attraction, high Latino population]
San Francisco [Sexy new stadium, international community]
Atlanta [Great new stadium, although not sure on fan support]
        Kansas City [Sleeper pick]

        PROBABLY OUT
        Philadelphia [Ugh, god no]
Houston [If they get it, because of the Hurricane]
Orlando [Too Hot and humid, too close to Miami]
Denver [Altitude major factor against it]
Cincinnati [If Columbus could host, I'd have them in, but Cincy's not sexy enough]
Nashville [Too new to the soccer scene]
        Baltimore [LMFAO]

Daughter4prez will be nine years old for the tourney. Can’t wait to take her.

My dad took me to watch the women play in DC when I was young and it was awesome. Be nice to keep the tradition alive.

              The vote's kinda interesting

              - Cuba abstained, which probably means they wanted it in the USA, but couldn't bring themselves to publicly support us.

              - Not sure why Brazil supported Morocco

              - Interesting that CAF had 10 countries vote for the United bid- most of them in the south. Best guess is the northern ones are the ones with a vast majority Christian population, maybe?

              - I get why France voted for Morrocco, but really, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands? And we see you up there, Lithuania, you assholes.

              - But hey, Russia voted for us.

              - So did Venezuela? Really?

              - Slovenia abstained. Maybe because of Melania they felt it was a conflict of interest? I dunno.

              - Spain abstained because they had to go fire their coach, so LMAO.

              - There must be some bad blood between Arabian countries and Moorish countries, maybe? A bit surprised so many of them sided with us, tbh. Iran voting "neither" is especially weird.

              - Almost willing to bet China voted for Morocco for economic reasons- they could have heavily been involved in stadium construction perchance.

Kansas City is the new HQ for US soccer, we're definitely getting one.

Better toss in a percentage of Oh Canada and Himno Nacional Mexicano into that title.

I wonder how they handle three countries getting autobids. Does Canada get a 1 seed like USA/Mex would I presume? Do they only give 1 seed status to the top group finisher in CONCACAF qualification? It will be nice to know we can't screw up qualification but we need to get that 1 seed POT designation.

I'd be crushed of Boston, KC and Seattle beat us out. We're a better option. Worst case though New Brunswick is an easy drive from Philly so getting to games would still be easy. Would just love to have the fans in Philly for the pregame.

Unless D.C. gets a new football stadium it honestly is a bad logically option outside of being the capital (oh wait, it's in Landover, MD. Fedex field (never been but from what I hear) is an absolute dump

Can confirm that not only is FedEx a shithole, but it’s a logistical nightmare.

That being said, odds are better than 50-50 that’s Washington FC will have a new stadium by then.

Snyder wants to put it in DC proper too, right?

So in 1994 the places were

                            Stanford
                            Rose Bowl
                            Dallas
                            Chicago
                            Silverdome
                            Orlando
                            DC
                            Giants stadium
                            And Foxsborough

I think So Detroit and Stanford are more than likely our. Should be Atlanta and Seattle. Orlando isn’t probably keeping it and I could see it going to Houston possibly.

                            They should move Foxborough also.

Yup. Can’t see it not getting a game.
