Translation: the American people who vote for repubs are getting too nutty.

If the voting public change, these mitherfuckers will change as well.

He was apparently spending $5,000 a day on security to protect his family from nutballs.

Agreed, he read there is no way for the smarter moderates to beat the low IQ far right and left. Idiocracy, here we come.

Let's face it all the low IQ voters are only on one side of the political spectrum.

What bothers me is that guys like Romney won't defect to the Democratic party or run as an Independent and caucus with the Dems. Sinema and Machine can go from Dems to repubs but it's never the other way around.

Not true, like this whack job OK with giving hormones to kids when their brain isn't remotely developed. Do you know how many people I know got a tattoo when they were 18 and regret it now or had it removed?

Then your comment about aborting babies right before birth....

Both far ends of the parties have some nutjobs.

Okay. Obviously, getting a tattoo at a young age and being given hormones is a bad analogy.

But yes. Both sides have their share of kooks. In terms of Romney, he’s focusing on those in his party. Or really, what used to be his party. The kookiness that now pervades his party is different in one way from that of the Democratic Party. Republican kookiness is a far less-serious, less-factually-based, version.

And, they’ve largely hitched their wagon to a man Romney finds repugnant. It would seem that Romney can no longer stomach it. I can’t blame him.

The problem I have is this: It seems like moderate Republicans are giving up the fight, all but feeding the party to Trump. I had hoped that the more moderate side — and, Liz Cheney and Romney are not moderates — would win out over the MAGA wing. That looks more and more as if that isn’t going to happen.

It has to be hard for guys like Romney, arguing with an intellectual know-nothing like Tommy Tuberville, who sticks his thumbs in his ears while vomiting up an inarticulate word salad of stupidity. Who can debate with someone who is entirely unserious? It’s like debating a five year old.

Anyhow, it’s hard for me to think of too many on the left wired like that.

Oh man - you didn't just wade into the Trans debate. You must be a Class A asshole for not having empathy for some kid going through a personal dilemma. I know nothing about some one's pain but what I do know is that I will give them ALL THE FUCKING RIGHTS TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS. How about you stop posting anecdotal videos.

If you don't know anything about child birth complications you should STFU. Some women can have a breached baby that could end up endangering the mother's life and therefore she can decide to have that baby aborted - literally up until the baby is viable outside the womb by C-section.

Fuq you are beginning to slide into conservatism and it bothers me. The nutjobs on the left are more about shit like reparations and open borders and desolve the police. In and of themselves they don't take away people's freedoms. Shit you people (republicans/conservatives) do does deprive people of their freedoms

No, the Republicans have a vastly larger majority of kooky people in office. Maybe Democrats are smarter and don't let their kooks get up to national levels and keep them all locked in California, I'm just pointing out they both exist.

I'm just saying a parent OK'ing a hormone treatment for a child is just ridiculous when a person's brain isn't fully developed until they're 25. I can see lots of regrets there, as the millions who got that girl's name or the Tasmanian devil tattooed on themselves.

Do you have proof of a 5 year old boy deciding to become a girl? And when you say someone's brain isn't fully developed until they are 25 is the most retarded thing you have ever said.

There are 16 year olds smarter than you - for a fact. What is your definition of fully developed brain?

If 25 is your limit then lets apply that to gun ownership as well. If you come after trans kids Im going after you gun nuts

I didn't say it, it's common knowledge for everyone who has a fully developed brain.

"The brain finishes developing and maturing in the mid-to-late 20s. The part of the brain behind the forehead, called the prefrontal cortex, is one of the last parts to mature."

Common knowledge? We give people the right to vote at 18 because they have developed skills of critical thinking by the time they are a senior in high school . We give 18 Year olds a gun to go fight in wars because they have critical reasoning between right and wrong.

The number of kids who go through sex change therapy can be counted on one hand . Just like the number of boys declaring themselves as girls and using the girls bathrooms.

This is manufactured republican outrage that you have sadly bought hook line and sinker.

Don't ever come here claiming to be an independent

Although there is no single definition of adolescence or a set age boundary, Kaplan4 has pointed out that puberty refers to the hormonal changes that occur in early youth, and adolescence may extend well beyond the teenage years. In fact, there are characteristic developmental changes that almost all adolescents experience during their transition from childhood to adulthood. It is well established that the brain undergoes a “rewiring” process that is not complete until approximately 25 years of age.5 This discovery has enhanced our basic understanding regarding adolescent brain maturation and it has provided support for behaviors experienced in late adolescence and early adulthood. Several investigators consider the age span 10–24 years as adolescence, which can be further divided into substages specific to physical, cognitive, and social–emotional development.

I see this viewpoint from a few friends with kids. I admit, I have no skin in the game, and that my views have the luxury of being largely academic. But, do you feel this sort of thing is common or exceptional?
