Indiana Rep Walorski killed in car crash

Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski and three others were killed Wednesday afternoon in a car crash in her district, according to authorities.
Walorski, 58, was traveling southbound on SR 19 near Nappanee, Indiana, in an SUV with two other people when a car traveling northbound crossed the dividing line and slammed head-on into the SUV, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. All three people in the SUV were killed.

I can’t say I know anything about her, but having lost a loved one in a car crash myself, I feel very bad for her family. There’s simply no way to wrap your mind around someone you love so much being here one minute and gone the next.

I did my cousin's funeral who was in a car crash. It sucks.

Seems like a shit way to go. I think I’d die a bit slowly (not too slowly and painfully) so at least I and the people I care about have time to accept it.

I don’t know how I want to die or if I really care. I’ve seen people go suddenly and slowly over time. One thing is for absolute certain though: If I’m a dead man anyway, they’re not going to spend my last days hacking me to bits and pumping me full of chemicals. Send my ass home so I can die in peace, don’t torture me like I’ve seen them do my loved ones.

Apparently the initial police story of the other car causing the crash has been reversed and it was the Congresswoman's car, driven by an aide, who crossed the highway centerline and killed everyone.

Nice that cops initially blamed the innocent dead person first, letting people think she killed a Congressperson and two young aides for a few days.
