I'm pretty sure abortion and immigration will be mostly unchanged until we die at this point. Primary reason being that both political parties enjoy using it as a wedge issue rather than actually fixing it. The DEMS LOOOOVE talking about both, but rarely do anything to affect either.

Roe v. Wade getting overturned would be pretty wild. It's more likely that the court just tries to slowly erode and chip away at it.

If it happens, so then we'll have women going to different states to get abortions and states trying to sue other states for it happening and vice versa. We'll have doctors being called to testify against their patients and citing HIPAA and having contempt charges brought against them. It will be some wild shit in the courts.

Abortion does not have majority public support, not as the Democratic Party believes in it anyway. Most polls indicate pro/anti abortion contingents are roughly the same size, with a large number of people thinking abortion is okay, but only in certain circumstances.

So long story short, the people you’re trying to win tend to have a complex view of the issue and don’t place much importance on it. This is typically why you only see abortion brought up when candidates need to rally their base.
