What these guys are doing is just plain petty, mean-spirited and wrong. I wish I could say that stunts like this stemmed from genuine frustration. But… they don’t. They’re appealing to a base that is motivated by mean-spirited things. So, moves like this are just going to continue to ramp up these sort of things unless they’re forced to stop… which they’ll then frame as government overreach.

Democrats load them up and “relocate” them (see: drop them off at a fucking airport with some vouchers and a good luck) to battleground states and Republicans ship them out of red states into prosperous blue areas to spite those people. And at no point does anyone who engages in this sort of behavior, regardless of their political affiliations or beliefs, recognize the fact that they’re dealing with real human beings. Not political currency, people.
