Good riddance! to the people who can't cut in the LA, SF, NY. Last thing we want is more homeless people here.

But I love how business friendly states still don't have the GDP of NY or California. Funny how more new businesses are still being started in NY/CA despite all these stupid stats.

News flash - people start business where there is insane talent - not in some bumfuck state where people walk around in MAGA hats carrying guns

I'm sure the asinine cost of living in some of those states has more to do with it than any political issues. Though the high COL is in itself a political issue.

It truly must be with Mitch and Rand running your stupid state.

Risk of poverty in KY: 15.7%
RIsk of poverty in CA: 11.9%

Mind you this was back in 2018 when the economy was humming

You mean pre-Covid when the Republicans were in power?

Looks like California does very well with Republicans.

Repubs were never in power in California. And nice of you give Obama the credit for the humming economy .

                        Yes you should!

I hear that Austin prices are sky rocketing with all the California millionaires going down there with Tesla, HP, Oracle.

The issue with this is that these people are fleeing the effects of the policies they voted to implement, and are trying to bring those policies to their new locations. It's happening in Austin, Boise, and will soon be an issue in Nashville.

Yes, let's extrapolate a Uhaul data point to mean liberal policies have failed multiple states.

The number 1 reason, if I had to guess, is due to COL. You can buy a nice house in Tennessee for $300k that would cost $1.5 million in California. That goes beyond liberal/conservative.
