They don’t blink because they want to hear Obama and Hillary get bashed for shit that quite clearly falls at the feet of Trump. They care more about hating them than most other things.

Obama was going to reset with the Russians but those fucks invaded Ukraine and Crimea so all the goodwill went out the door.
      - The Russian Reset was in 2009.

      - Obama was caught on an open mic telling a Russian official he would have more flexibility to negotiate missile sites after he won the election in March 2012.

      - Romney said Russia was our number one geopolitical foe in March 2012. Democrats laughed and said the Cold War is over.

      - In August 2012, it was revealed that an Akula-class submarine had conducted a patrol within the Gulf of Mexico without being detected, raising alarms of the U.S. Navy's anti-submarine warfare capabilities.

      - On February 12, 2013, hours before the 2013 State of the Union Address by U.S. president Obama, two Russian Tu-95 Bear strategic bombers, reportedly equipped with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles, circled the U.S. territory of Guam. Air Force F-15 jets based on Andersen Air Force Base were scrambled to intercept the aircraft. The Russian aircraft reportedly "were intercepted and left the area in a northbound direction."

      - Russia annexed Crimea in Feb 2014.

      - Russia or their proxies shot down MH17 in July 2014.

      - In July 2014, the U.S. government formally accused Russia of having violated the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty by testing a prohibited medium-range ground-launched cruise missile (presumably R-500, a modification of Iskander) and threatened to retaliate accordingly. Concern in the U.S. was also caused by the test-firing in 2014 of the Russian RS-26 Rubezh Intercontinental Ballistic Missile capable of evading the existing anti-ballistic missile defenses.[

      - In April 2015, CNN reported that "Russian hackers" had "penetrated sensitive parts of the White House" computers in "recent months."

      - In early June 2015, the U.S. State Department reported that Russia had failed to correct the violation of the I.N.F. Treaty; the U.S. government was said to have made no discernible headway in making Russia so much as acknowledge the compliance problem.

      - Obama acknowledged Russia's role in securing the deal to limit Iran's nuclear program that was reached in July 2015, and personally thanked Putin for Russia's role in the relevant negotiations.

      - On September 30, 2015, Russia began the air campaign in Syria on the side of the Syrian government headed by president Bashar al-Assad of Syria.

      - Bilateral negotiations over Syria were unilaterally suspended by the U.S on October 3, 2016, which was presented as the U.S. government's reaction to a re-newed offensive on Aleppo by Syrian and Russian troops. On the same day Putin signed a decreethat suspended the 2000 Plutonium Management and Disposition Agreement with the U.S. (the relevant law was signed on 31 October 2016), citing the failure by the U.S. to comply with the provisions thereof as well as the U.S.' unfriendly actions that posed a "threat to strategic stability.

      - The U.S. presidential election campaign of 2016 saw the U.S. security officials accuse the Russian government of being behind massive cyber-hackings and leaks that aimed at influencing the election and discrediting the U.S. political system.

Trump tweeting this morning that it is all fake news.

So after letting his minions say it is real but has been going on for some time and is really the black one's fault, Trump comes out and says it's all fake.

Trump not planning to do anything about this, but he had a phone call with Putin and Putin told him it was a lie and he, of course, believes Putin.

I see DSM is continuing to duck this thread. Guy shredded Obama for 8 years over not being able to provide a Powerpoint overview of the Benghazi attack within 5 minutes but is no doubt willing to let Trump spend a few weeks denying this because he has to give the guy the benefit of the doubt whenever possible.

You would think something as simple as a memo could get everyone on the same page, or something. Surely we have the technology. This clown show simply cannot keep their shit together from one moment to the next.

It’s just kinda ridiculous. I mean... maybe Trump didn’t think this would leak. Maybe he just doesn’t care. It’s not like any of his supporters care. I’m not seeing outrage from those in the Military.

Its been two weeks and Trump has yet to state he is doing anything about this. Or that he has even talked to Putin concerning it.

Republicans claimed Iran was doing something similar to this, aiding terrorists to kill American soldiers, and have used that as a foundation to tear up the JCPOA and consider Iran a terrorist regime. But Russia? So far, not a fucking thing is being said.

Apparently, Trump gets very mad when Putin or Russia are brought up in briefings.

Don't tempt them. Many will happily turn back from Trump assholes into Bush assholes.

Because neoliberals fall for Bush assholes' shit. Over and over again. Some, like Clinton, are indistinguishable in any real way. Trump assholes at least have incompetence to recommend them.

Phew. Trump finally acting on this! This is what LEADERSHIP looks like!

                                https://www.politico.com/newsletters...leakers-489718

Wait, what? Trump, when briefed that Putin is paying Afghanis cash to kill US soldiers, decides to go after the Americans who leaked the info?

At this point, none of us should be surprised if Trump does find the leaker(s) and extradites them to Russia so Putin can have them executed.
