So who do you accredit the moronic panic shopping scourge of March 2020?

Why are you still doing this? Trump was calling this a hoax as recently as late February. Most right-wing outlets were ignoring the threats of COVID until a week or so ago.

You can be mad at the media for being sensationalist all of the time, but they were spot-on here for calling this a potential catastrophe weeks before the Trump administration took it seriously.

It's one thing to cry wolf when you know the nature of the wolf, and quite another to cry the sky is falling when you know little of the falling object's nature. The very same media also blasted Trump for "over-reacting" when he stopped travel from China, which helped slow down this thing a bunch. The media is the most culpable for creating the hoarding hysteria.

There is just no helping you, is there?

January 25, NPR reporting a "grave" global outbreak of a novel Coronavirus. A full month later Trump would be calling this a Democrat hoax.

And when he shut down China flights, the left (including Joe Biden) and the media declared it was too much.

Of course not. But I blame the media for the idiots who went panic shopping.

Well, that and those same idiots for believing the sensationalism being preached by the media.

Did they? As far as I can tell, Biden said a wall or a travel ban wouldn't stop it since it was already here. Which...is true.

This doesn't seem to offer much criticism of the travel ban other than to say it may be too little too late. Which...was true.
