Highest voter turnout in 50 years. Incumbent party got smashed even in a good economy. Can't say the people aren't motivated to vote.

It happened. Are you pretending 2016 didn’t happen?

2016 was a fluke - even Trump wasn't expecting to win

I’d like you to point out all of the times the new presidents party didn’t get bodied in the midterms.

Pro tip: It’s a short list.

The turnout at Iowa and NH aint looking too promising so far. Youth and first time voter counts are lower.

Plus, a ton of the "Trump Voters", those that only voted for Trump, stayed home in 2018.

As of today, Trump is the favorite to not only win reelection, but take back the house.

Trump had more than twice the votes in NH than Obama did in 2012.

                    Independent vote was also down.

Democrat turnout was high though. Which makes sense given that the democrat core went out for their preferred candidates. But the Democrats also have a high number of "X or bust" voters.

A couple of seats you could justify. Record turnout and losing 40+ seats? Nah, you're holding on to that L forever, sweets.

Oh shucks, well I wonder how long the Dems are going to “hold the L” on losing 60+ seats in 94 and 2010 then? Forever +20?

Ironically both times it was the GOP working to make healthcare more expensive that won them major gains.

                          Americans are pretty silly sometimes.

                            Unemployment:

                            1994: 6.1%
                            2010: 9.6%
                            2018: 3.9%

Okay, and? All you’re doing is demonstrating that there’s no observable correlation between unemployment and midterm results.

Just “take your L” like a good little boy and run along. I promise you’ll have plenty more chances to make a fool out of yourself before November.
