But seriously, go get some fresh air or something. You're losing it.
Me and the entire country of Sweden, apparently. I’m starting to think I was wrong about them, you know? They may be socialists, but you can’t call them stupid.

No idea what is going on in Sweden, nor do I care. If they are not social distancing and flattening the curve anyway, then I'd like to point out that they generally have much lower levels of stress (better immune systems) because of a solid social safety net and they eat and exercise far better than most of America, making them objectively healthier to start with.

Those would be far bigger factors than social distancing, IMO. Stick your average obese, chainsmoking West Virginian in Malmo and they're dead by Thursday.

It’s almost like the real crisis is the more than 30 million Americans with type 2 diabetes, or the more the 1/3 Americans that are obese. Funny how the death toll associated with that hasn’t prompted any drastic responses from our government, or even as much as a ban on high fructose corn syrup. It’s almost like they don’t give a shit about human life unless they can use it being threatened as a means of further control. Ah, I’m sure it’s just an oversight! The governments of the world totally care about their citizens and have NEVER exaggerated a threat to further their own power. I mean, what a silly fucking idea.

Nice jab, but kind of bigoted. Something tells me if I said “cut your average black hood rat in Baltimore off the government teet and they’re burning DPR’s house down by the Wednesday” the response would be a little different.

You voted for a guy who mocked Michelle Obama's lunch program that pushed kids to eat more fresh vegetables. The GOP, by and large, loves to mock any public health effort to curb obesity as "communism" or whatever. If you actually gave a shit about public health in this country, you would never have voted for Donald John Trump. So spare me.

Suggesting the residents of Baltimore are inherently violent is racist. Suggesting that the average West Virginian is of poor health and thus more likely to die from COVID is just a fact.

Everyone in the media said that they would be living in a WWZ hellscape right now, and yet the curve seems to be flattening and their death toll hasn’t skyrocketed. Is it just a miracle, or maybe, just maybe, the people telling you to stay inside and watch Netflix outside of going to increasingly crowded grocery stores are full of shit?

Swedes are dying at a 4.5x per capita rate as their neighbors. Using them to prove whatever the fuck your point is makes you seem like a dumb cunt.

Someone doesn’t have any experience with Sodexo, apparently. I don’t know what else to say other than that I’m happy for you.

No, it’s bullshit both ways, you just haven’t been sufficiently brow beaten for your ignorance when it comes to rural white people. We can trade stats back and forth for a bit if you want, but you’d be better off just not painting with such a broad brush and moving on.

The UK and Sweden are 876 miles from one another according to Google, does that not qualify as a neighbor? Let’s get some specifics on what you mean by that so I can make sure and break your shitty argument over my knee properly.

There’s a sea separating them, my dude.

Also, the UK was very late in the game to do social distancing so not the best example. They originally were into heard immunity then quit on that.

I’m aware of that, but I’m also aware that bodies of water haven’t been a limiting factor in human travel for a few thousand years now.

Okay so what about France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy? What about the U.S, and Ireland who are in roughly the same ballpark? Either all of those countries are failing massively in executing their lockdowns (they’re not), or it’s a failed strategy. I wish more countries would do what Sweden has so we could get a more accurate picture, but unfortunately, they’ve chosen mass unemployment and extreme social controls over common sense.

I’d also like to remind everyone that swine flu infected roughly 1.5 billion and killed just under 300k globally and none of these extreme measures took place. Weird.

The Netherlands is 600 miles away, is that better? I know this has become an emotional topic for you, but let’s try and be rational.

Countries that tend to have more travel to and from China did worse. Go figure. This shit started and was mishandled by China from the jump. That’s what why the major western economies got hit hardest vs smaller countries.

Sweden and Scandinavia as a whole doesn’t have that....unless IKEA is in China and that’s what was their issue.

Today I learned Ireland and Belgium are huge Chinese tourist destinations.

Man, inner travel between Ireland and the U.K. is so common that if they put a border to it bombings would restart overnight.
