  • Republican Congressmen Storm Briefing Room

Well... isn’t that interesting? It seems Taylor’s testimony might have some folks a bit rattled. Today’s deposition was Laura Cooper, a Pentagon official, in a secure room meant to be free of electronic devices. Apparently, the same Republicans who supported closed-door testimony in the myriad Benghazi hearings suddenly think they’re very unfair to the President. So, they’re staging a sit-in. To my knowledge, some are still there. This should be fun to watch.

Wouldn't you just grab security and get them the F out?

In theory, couldn’t they all be arrested?

The problem is they are holding these hearings while excluding the GOP. This should be a bipartisan effort. When you say "The House of Representatives", it doesn't mean Democrats only. So not only are they holding them in private when it should be public, it's also partisan as fuck.

DC is nothing more than a circus.

But they’re not excluding the GOP. The GOP members in the three committees that are part of this inquiry are in all of these meetings. It’s step one, we’re not at the full house phase yet. This is how everything in congress has happened forever.

                  Uhhhhh...

They're doing everything they can to limit GOP participation.

It's not hard to figure out what they are after. If it works out, good on them. If it fails, they will end up looking like tyrannical idiots.

I still don’t see why Trump couldn’t just hold a press conference and answer questions without legal counsel and see what happens. Every other President could and this guy is a stable genius so I mean what could go wrong?

Wait. You know these sessions are bipartisan, right? There are Republicans in those rooms.

The beauty of this is unlike any other impeachment proceeding in our history everyone involved has time stamped quotes that live on forever.

Except on fvsports.com of course which will crash and lose all past history, of course.

Not because the Dems want them there. They are pulling every stunt possible to limit their participation. Holding 2 interviews at once, calling for them at inopportune times, etc.

Like I said. If they pull this off and it sticks, good on them. But if it turns out to be more witch hunting, they'll look like sctrojans.
