  • 5* Peach Jam MVP N'Faly Dante to Oregon

    Good news this morning. :-)

He will re-classify to 2019 and play this season.

Should be an interesting and talented team, though I'm worried about turnovers being a big issue. Richardson and Pritchard can both handle, but the rest of the team has high TO rates.

He's a monster, and with some conditioning work he could be really great at the college level. Got to see him a couple of times at Peach Jam, including the championship game. When he was on the floor and not gassed (there's a lot of running and gunning at that stage, of course), he was either going to get a bucket or go to the free throw line.

Thanks Gyle. He doesn't seem as springy as Kenny Wooten or Jordan Bell, but he's much more strong in the lower body and seems to have at least a couple reliable post moves.

Oregon also landed Addison Patterson today, a Canadian who seems to be a cross between Dillon Brooks and Lonzo Ball, meaning he'll likely be one of the more hated players in the Pac-12.

Oregon ends up with the #4 class for 2019, after all but 3 players declared early or transferred. I wish Louis King would have stayed one more year, but hard to complain in the end with this class:

      5*CJ Walker-PF
      5*N'Faly Dante-C
      4* Addison Patterson SG/SF
      4* Chandler Lawson PF
      3* Lok Wur-SF(project)
UNLV grad transfer Shakur Juiston PF(probably will start at PF for us)
New Mexico grad transfer Anthony Mathis(SG).
      JuCo POY: Chris Duarte SG/SF
