We played at our peak(ish). If we didn’t just lose to TAMU Commerce I’d be proud of the effort. Winning would have made up for it, but we’re still a loss behind where we should be.

A couple of good ones today

        7 Tennessee/ 2 Purdue at 7
        1 Kansas / 4 Marquette at 9:30

Keep an eye on Gonzaga/Cuse at 1:30 and Duke/undefeated La Salle at 6

He's massive. Great player. We have 3 big men on the verge of fouling out with 10+ minutes to go. Entire game revolves around him.

Yeah and he is getting away with some over the backs too...... Great game so far though, UT is keeping up

He'll be on the bench for 2 more minutes

Refs calling everything all of a sudden.

                    Refs ruining a good ending.

Good game Hamp, losing a close top 5 game to an orgre isn't the worst way to start the season...

Yeah, no doubt. Good tough game. Refs could have stayed out of it on both ends. 30 free throws and 46 free throws? Had our chances, just couldn't get some wide open buckets to drop.

Yeesh. KU looks absolutely awful tonight. Marquette having their way.

They are still mad about when we beat them and Dwayne Wade by 33 in the 2003 Final 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YS5YYtQTH8

That was the game I watched at the Hawk in Lawrence and passed out in some bushes....

                            Good times......

This KU team is really bad offensively.

Rick Barnes offense is just consistently one where the offense goes ice cold for far too long and far too often. So aggravating. Brickathons

We're the same this year, no perimeter scoring. 40 of our 69 points were in the paint....

Both are really good defensive teams though.

Good game Hamp, sucks to lose two but they were hard fought and will help your team be battle tested when SEC play comes around. You got to play two of the top five big men in the NCAA this year.
