  • Changing of the guard in CFB?

Michigan has won its last two against Ohio State and has them at home this year.

The SEC is getting its dick stomped in almost every single out of conference game.

Texas actually looks like a good football team, and their head coach is a guy who got drunk and ranted to boosters like a crazy person.

Saban looks apathetic and disinterested as fuck.

The Pac 12 might be the best conference or close to it at this point, and it’s a literal zombie.

Oh, and their second best team is probably Colorado who went 1-11 last year and replaced their entire team.

How is anyone going to predict this shit going forward? Is this just the kind of chaos we’ll have to get used to in the NIL/Portal era?

      In order:

-Michigan has built their entire program around being able to beat tOSU, which is why they have 0 playoff wins.
-So far its been a step back, but Jawja is still Jawja
-They looked decent against Bama last year, and still lost 4 more games.
-Saban always looks like that when Bama loses
-They've had a great start...against absolutely no one.
      -Same as the point above

All this to say, its Week 2. Theres a lot more. Too early to know anything...save that Devin Brown fucking sucks.

I guess I never really considered parity in college football being a thing. I suppose big upsets like what we’ve seen this year happen every year. It’s just as likely that they’re all flukes as it is being endemic of a trend.

Oh it's over. So is Dabo's

We welcome our new overlords: Coach Day, Coach Lincoln Riley and Coach Sanders.

But not the coach who beat Dabo. Got it.

It’ll sell. Alabama fans are thirsty for some outrage. They’ll be clicking on that shit more than those who hate Alabama.

2020 was Saban's swan song. 2021 and 2022 were squarely on the shoulders of Bryce Young. Seeing where we are, and knowing it was coming, made the 2021 SEC CG that much sweeter. It was a good run and so much fun to watch.

Saban has nothing to prove and his demeanor reflects the attitude. He was smiling on the sideline before yesterday's game. No one is smiling now. I just hope he has the grace to go out with dignity and not have to be dragged out like Bowden and Paterno. We will continue to wallow in mediocrity until a coach with something to prove steps in. I wouldn't be opposed to Kiffin or, dare I say? Coach Prime.

I can't believe the AAC is more relevant than the Pac12.

4 of those are in the B1G. You might want to get used to that.

                              No doubt

But I do want the last ride for the league to be a good one.
