        2023 rules changes for NASCAR:

        https://racer.com/2023/01/31/nascar-...series-season/

They aren’t really changing a rule to stop a repeat of the Chastain Maneuver, but they are going to disallow any future attempts by citing an existing safety rule.

I am a little concerned about the use of mufflers, especially if testing has resulted in increased temperatures. These cars were combusting like crazy without them.

Martinsville in the rain would be awesome.

Why is the Busch Clash starting at 8 p.m. on a Sunday? Go to Hades, NASCAR.

I just clicked on this out of curiosity and see Cypress Hill doing nascar pregame in front of like 12 people.

Apparently NASCAR's local promotion for the Clash, including the tickets, specified 5PM local as the start time. Which it was- for the main event. The heats began at 2PM, and a lot of people apparently didn't know that. So well done on NASCAR for that.

                      Anyways, Truex is amazing.

Fastest car won the race. The number of cautions kept the lapped traffic to a minimum. Nice job, Truex, and to the driver who dumped Hamlin on the last lap.

I didn’t know the heats started earlier until you posted it.

If you haven’t watched Nitro Rallycross, you should check it out. Electric rally cars on a snow track is highly entertaining.
