Glad the committee didn’t listen to the morons. You shut TCU out and this sport is basically dead.

I just can’t imagine a world where Ohio State’s receivers don’t get manhandled and bitched like they did against Michigan. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong, but there’s been a nut sack issue with this team.

Our secondary is easily the weakest link of our defense.

I’m excited for the game. I’ve always admired tOSU’s program and their storied history. I think whomever wins will be the National Champion.

                For an updated comparison:

The BCS had 32 total spots in the NCG. There were 15 unique teams and 11 unique champions out of 16 years.

The playoff had 36 total spots in the CFP. There were 13 unique teams, 5 unique champions out of 8 years (9 is pending). Of the 13 unique teams, 6 had not previously made a BCS CG. Of the 5 unique champions, 2 had not previously won a BCS NC..... UGA and Clemson.

Regardless of the outcome of the 2022 CFP, neither the BCS nor the CFP have produced a first-time national champion. Still, the last first-time national champion was Florida in 1996. Only 3 teams, Oregon VT and Cincy, have ever had the opportunity to win their first national title, and those teams are a combined 1-4 in those appearances with no titles (The lone win was Oregon beating FSU in a semi).

Which one has left more undefeated and one loss teams out of a chance to play for a NC? Just wanted to see those numbers.

I mean, its disappointing but not unexpected. I know a lot of people within the program who felt he shut it down after hurting his hammy in Week 1 out of fear that he could cost himself in the draft by trying to play. Its crazy, but thats kinda where we are at. I know this, that no one feels hes hurt to where he can't play.

I was hoping the extra rehab time could give him a chance to go, but we've both seen this all season. He tried to come back twice and made it worse, so he should sit.

I just really, REALLY miss watching JSN play for the Buckeyes and it sucks I never will again.

I think we all understand it as well. He was so fun to watch last year, none of us will ever forget the Rose Bowl. I hope hes drafted high and kills it at the next level.

I’d like to think that, but I’ve already seen some vitriol online that makes me sick. The idea that some of these people ACTUALLY BELIEVE that they care more about a team than someone who plays on said team because they sit on their ass and watch them is fucking baffling to me.

Funny thing about this playoff, I have no ill will or animosity towards Georgia. I enjoy my time in Atlanta the several times I've been down there...this isn't like Bama or Clemons, where I despise the teams. Georgia is a really good physical football team. I'll have no issue if we lose to them, regardless of the SEC nonsense.
