I don't remember, but I'm sure that Silky probably said he was the next Tom Brady

White was from the town next to where Julio is from. Crazy amount of talent in Baldwin county in the 00s.

Pat White was fun to watch. Those WVU offenses were something.

I miss the 2007 CFB season. Greatest season ever

Ironically his wife looks like the stripper Mike Price hooked up with.

For some reason I remember he is from Daphne, AL. I guess all these years on the boards are good for useless CFB trivia knowledge

I think I could tell you more about the 05 season then this coming season. I don’t think I’ve bought a preseason magazine in 10 years. Things change but I’m still going to watch all the games and yell at the tv.

Pat White had freakish straight line speed and that offense was a blast to watch. I actually ended up meeting Pat White a handful of years ago though, seemed like a cool guy but I definitely see where the gay rumors came from. Very feminine demeanor.

I uploaded this video to YouTube in 2008. It is a highlight reel ABC made for the 2005 season. I remember this board peaked around that time as most of us were in college around then. I think we just have nostalgia for that time period so we remember it more fondly.

Silky LOVED that West Virginia team.

I would be interested to know how much the Alabama fanbase exploded after Saban turned that program into what it is now. I remember wondering why "Bamaboybignate" and "RollTide" existed given how bad Alabama had been until that point. I also wonder why they disappeared when Bama actually became good. Heck, that Mike Shula miracle year was somewhat of a feel-good story for them. Now it is almost comical to think of anything good about the immediate pre-Saban years.
