Nah, it was green all the way in. Bell did have a later stop but he was just hauling ass.

So... who's ready for Kimi Raikonnen?

    • Bell had newer tires but Harvick said he forgot to downshift a couple of laps which let Bell nearly catch up.

Bring it on. I just hope he has a better time than JPM or Dario. Marco Andretti proved these guys can compete with fenders.

While these new cars are certainly better for someone to just step in...it's still a box truck compared to waht he was driving.

I also don't recall Marco competing with 35 others at Watkins Glen.

Still...it's a road course...and they are just as crazy at plate tracks now. I'd love to see Kimi run the rest of the season. That would be fun.

No matter what: Kudos to Trackhouse racing. They don't screw around.

Trackhouse and Kaulig are going dominate this sport in 5 years. Roush is done. SHR and Penske are inconsistent. Hendrick will always be the dark lord of racing but for how much longer?

It's nice to see other teams shaking it up. Kaulig needs better drivers on the top level tho. I love the Haley kid (local), but I think he's in over his head. I'd love to see Allmendinger in that ride full time to help mentor. He's just in a different place and he's fun to watch.

Suarez and chastain this year have been great to watch too in that regard.

Penske will never go away. And I don't think they've been inconsistent. Blaney should have 3-4 wins this year. SHR will be strong, as will Hendrick. Roush and RCR need to get used to being has beens.

You should read it and find out.

                    • Glad to see Indycar hang in there and finish at St. Louis.

We need more of the "radio style" broadcasting in NASCAR. Loved hearing Mike Bagley. Also, someone should drop a piano on Dave Burns. Kudos to Chase for not taking the bait but that is about the most upset I have seen him during a radio interview. He was gritting his teeth and thanking his sponsors. Sucks that AJ couldn't get the win.

                      • Ricardo officially out of McLaren next year, back to Alpine maybe? Rumors are Audi is taking over Sauber, Porsche rumors swirling... the rest of this season is going to be GREAT

I listen to Bagley most mornings. Love him, and I also loved the Glen.

                            Porsche would be interesting.

                              • 5 drivers taking grid penalties (Verstappen and Leclerc as two of them) and the possibility of rain both for Quali and the race could make it hella interesting.
