Fun finish in the GTDP category at the Rolex 24. Cool to see Helio bring home the DPi trophy again.

Unfortunately last I saw there weren't over 40 entries? Hopefully that changes.

Daytona should be the ONLY race on the schedule where a Charter does NOT guarantee your car to be in the race, as it is considered the most prestigious race on the circuit.
How Qualifying should look for Daytona:- Daytona 500 qualifying should set the front row, as has been done since the qualifying races began. The Pole winner gets a playoff point.
- Excluding the race pole sitter (the two drivers who will start on the front row), the Top 14 from each race qualify for the 500
- Positions 31-36 are set by speed from qualifying
- Positions 37-40 are set by owner points
- The winner of their Duel gets bonus points towards the playoffs (five points, but not credited with a win)
This also prevents what we've had happen three times over the course of the last 15 years: a driver who finishes in the Top 5 of a duel miss the race because they don't have a charter. Hell, Robby Gordon (2006 or 2007) finished 4th in a duel and missed the race. That's bullshit.
