Week 1: Washington (Montana, 13-7)

Very lively crop this week. Normally I go into this kinda expecting who the winner is going to be, and while I do have an idea, I'm prepared to be surprised with the strong offerings we have here.
ARIZONA WILDCATS (Northern Arizona, 21-19)
Denied first win of the season after blowing a 13-0 lead and a last ditch two point conversion failed. After that debacle, the stage might be set for a winless season in Tuscon.
COLORADO BUFFALOES (Minnesota, 30-0)
Losing at home to Minnesota is not nomination worthy. Being blown out by Minnesota for their first shut out in 15 years, being held to 63 yards including (checks notes) NEGATIVE NINETEEN RUSHING YARDS is, however. Honestly, its almost a miracle they even got six first downs.
LOUISIANA TECH BULLDOGS (SMU, 39-37)
Everyone say it with me: What's the first rule of defending a Hail Mary? KNOCK IT DOWN. LaTech did not do that, and for the second time this season ends up here after a statement win is denied via heartbreaker.
MARSHALL THUNDERING HERD (East Carolina 42-38)
Blew a 17 point lead in the fourth quarter to give an ECU team that hadn't shown any signs of life in the first couple of weeks its first win of the season.
PITTSBURGH PANTHERS (Western Michigan, 44-41)
Panthers hosted the Broncos as 14 point favorites, but leave battered and bruised after surrendering 500 yard and 40 minutes of posession and their second multi-posession comeback of the day ended coming up short.
TEXAS STATE BOBCATS (Incarnate Word, 42-34)
Obligatory FCS loss. Cardinals scored back to back touchdowns in the fourth quarter to go up 11, and while TSU did cut it to a single posession with a field goal with less than a minute left, the ensuing onside kick ended up sealing their fate.
TOLEDO ROCKETS (Colorado State 22-6)
What the hell happened here? Toledo was coming off a scare of Notre Dame. Colorado State was coming off a blowout loss to FCS South Dakota State and a heartbreaker to Power 5 bottom-feeder Vanderbilt. But the Rockets were strangled to death with just 21 rushing yards for a shocking home meltdown.
UCF KNIGHTS (Louisville, 42-35)
The Knights had to rally from behind, and scored the tying touchdown with just 72 seconds left in regulation. Then, miracle of miracles, got a chance to play for the win after a subsequent Louisville turnover deep in their own territory- only to throw a game ending Pick Six on the next play.
UCLA BRUINS (Fresno State,40-37)
11 point favorites in the Rose Bowl, the Bruins were put behind the eight ball at the start by the Bulldogs, and twice had to rally from behind to take the lead, only to lose it all on a touchdown pass from Jake Haener with fourteen seconds left.
