  • Let's talk Bowl Projections: October (pre-MAC/PAC edition)

Not trying to go outside the NY6 because we don't know what all games will be played.

Sugar: 1 Clemson vs. 4 Oklahoma State
Rose: 2 Alabama vs. 3 Ohio State
Orange: 5 Notre Dame vs. 6 Florida
    Cotton: 10 BYU vs. 9 Texas A&M
Fiesta: 14 Cincinnati vs. 15 Oregon
Peach: 7 Georgia vs. 8 Penn State

Let's face it: despite not playing a game, Ohio State is Top 3. It's just an argument outside of Buckeye fans who the Top 3 is in which order. Okie Lite is most likely the fourth team, unless by some weird virtuosity that aTm goes 9-1, and that could be possible. Same could be said with the ACC, but that clusterfuck of the possible four teams at 10-1/11-1 in a mix of ND, UNC, and Miami solved itself. Maybe sub in NC State? Remember, ND is an ACC member this season so they can be the ACC pick in the Orange.

Not sure how the PAC will shake out but its either Oregon or USC in a NY6 game.

As for BYU? If they run the table, its going to be hard to place them in a lower tier bowl.

I think it'll be ASU in the Fiesta. Cal v. ASU in the title game. Maybe USC, but Oregon isn't winning the North.

Fenway Bowl off this year, Myrtle Beach and LA Bowl in doubt. All three were planned to be played on December 19th.

Holiday Bowl has been cancelled. Figured this would happen. Expect it to be played at whatever BancStadium is called now in Carson for 2021 before moving to Aztec Stadium in 2022.
